About
My day job is making sure half a million people can order ice cream at 2am and actually get it. I work across the stack — Java and Spring Boot on the backend, React and React Native on the client side. I tend to own things end-to-end, from system design to what lands on someone's phone. When I'm not working I'm either cycling, running, or building something on the side for no particular reason other than curiosity.

I've worked on a variety of projects, from simple websites to complex web applications. Here are a few of my favorites.
Mobile App for tracking binged TV shows
Built Tsuiseki, a mobile app for tracking binged TV shows. The app is built using React Native and Expo, and was available on the App Store and Google Play. Used the project as a hands-on way to learn Expo after previously working with the React Native CLI.
Lab Test Tracking & Reporting App
Provincial Inspectorates of Commercial Quality of Agricultural Products were tracking lab tests and compiling inspection reports by hand, a slow, error-prone process. Modeled an existing internal system as a Python course project to replace it: an MVC web app that logs tests and auto-generates standardized .docx and .csv reports, cutting out manual paperwork. Built with Django and MySQL, containerized with Docker.
GTA5 Modded Server
Contributed to one of the GTA5 community modded experiences as a fullstack developer in a collaborative team. The server's architecture was event-based in Node.js and the user interface was built in Vue.js.
